Freelance work on various projects in a variety of fields such as the Health sector, Charities, Service Design, Education, Banking, Architecture and Blockchain. Use of Design Thinking and User-Centered Design methodology to answer complex briefs and create viable prototypes based on empirical data and research.

FREELANCE PRODUCT DESIGNER & PROJECT MANAGER, HYPER ISLAND

August 2021 - December 2021

Product design and project proposal for an online HUB capable of hosting and helping the growth of the Hyper Island Community. The project aimed at redesigning the education "life-cycle" from a linear to a cyclical model in order to promote a Life-Long learning experience.

CO-FOUNDER, IDLIST

August 2019

I founded a project called IDlist - an incubator for public university students in France, where entrepreneurial ventures could be pursued with the support of skilled consultants from various industries. Its aim was to empower young entrepreneurs and provide guidance as they worked towards realising their ideas. 


Through this project, I managed teams, creating business plans and financial sheets. I learned a lot about UX/UI design, wireframing, the use of prototyping tools (Figma, Invision, Webflow, and Sketch), and SEO referencing (Google SEO, Google Ads, Digital Marketing) 

CONSULTANT & TRANSLATOR, LA FRENCH BOUTQUE

August 2019 - November 2019

I translated content between French, Chinese, and English for the startup. I was advising the company on steps to take, considering the cultural differences between players as they set up an e-commerce platform in association with Alibaba. I also kept track of stocks, prices, financial sheets, and client liaisons.

June 2018 - September 2019

I was in charge of translating comedy content (French to English) for one of the top Youtube channels in France (5.1M subscriber).  I was proactive in reaching short deadlines. I was in charge of translating and subtitling and had the chance to be part of the creative process of video content creation.

Social Media Campaign for Empowermotion

Social Media Campaign project for a coaching / mentoring program. Tasks involved: Campaign Planning, Content Creation, Social Media Marketing and Data Analysis, Social Media Monitoring (SMM) and Account Growth.

MASTER PROJECT

Redesigning Refugee Camps in Ethiopia to promote gender equality and facilitate employment - UNHCR

Our group closely collaborated with UNHCR to understand what undermines the employment and reinsertion of women refugees within Ethiopian UNHCR camps. We looked to optimize the training centres already present in the camps and make them more inclusive while optimizing their impact. To do so we looked into cutting-edge digital technologies, human-centred design, the Doughnut economy and local markets/trends.

MASTER PROJECT

Digital Portal for Hyper Island 

For this project, our team designed a modular platform that facilitated collaboration inside the Hyper Island network (students, alumni, businesses, experts) while evolving with the users' journeys. We had to rethink and reflect on the educational journey and how to redesign it in a way that supported the life-long experience of learning. 

The aim was to help the client in their business transformation through an innovative digital approach. 

MASTER PROJECT

Service design project with Zopa

Proposal of a new app design to improve communication, trust, and engagement of customers. Deep research and empathetic process led our team to understand deeper issues concerning loaning as an experience but also its consequences (self-esteem, mental health issues, lack of support). We designed a service allowing people to keep track of their finances while focusing on education and personal support. Giving people a place to take about difficult topics such as money without fear of judgement.

MASTER PROJECT

Digital Technology project with ART Health Solutions

Project based around transforming an existing technological ecosystem into a new digital product. The project required us to understand what productivity meant for the average worker and the influence environment had on it. On a technological level, we conducted research on existing IoTs (Internet of Things) to inspire our solution. 
Our team designed a digital product to help night shift workers keep a healthy bio rhythm, ultimately improving their mental health as well as their productivity. 

RESEARCH PROJECT

Entering the Metaverse - New live music experiences

This research activity allowed me to take a deeper look at the music industry over the years in parallel with technological advancement. It describes the impact of technological advancements such as the gramophone, vinyl, CDs, streaming platforms. It studies the possibilities that VR and multiverse games such as Fortnite can mean for the Music Industry, especially during a global pandemic where public gatherings are forbidden. Our study shows how Metaverses could be the new stage for future live music experiences.

RESEARCH PROJECT

Design Thinking in the Morbid and Mortality Review process

MMRs have crucial importance in making the health care system safer, and more efficient in saving money and time. But it is necessary to create an environment where the people can empathize with
stakeholders, state the essential problem clearly, channel their creativity and test unique solutions. We study how Design Thinking tools could help the process particularly in its ideating phase and with its values. Promoting collaboration of cross-disciplinary teams, creativity through brainstorming, and the implementation of the solution to improve the quality and efficiency of the MMRs and improving the health care system as a whole.
